Ringside seats available for a life without the Old Firm...

Went on to the AA for a route to Bargeddie. Ended up in Barcelona. It's the last time I ask a recovering alcoholic for directions. Anyway. Barca it was. Plenty of my media compadres were there to cover some sort of match involving a pig's bladder (it was apparently thrown on the pitch when Figo last turned up).

Repaired to the Ramblas. Met Rangers' fans. Was repaired. Decided to head to the Picasso Museum on the assumption there would be no punters there. Rangers fans, I have found, have always preferred the work of Miro and his museum is but a short walk away.

Returned to press pack and said I had been at my Transsexuals Anonymous meeting. After all, I could not say I was at a museum. They would have stolen my dinner money, given me a wedgie and stuffed my head down the toilet.
